Mark is owner, senior designer, and creative director for Stil Point Communications. Mark founded Stil Point Communications in 1980. Past account experiences include IBM, IBM Tivoli, Advanced Micro Devices, Samsung, Dell, Silicon Laboratories, University Federal Credit Union, Randolph Austin, Apollo Releasing, Hyatt Regency Austin, UT Texas Center for Writers, Brackenridge Hospital, and Austin Diagnostic Center, to name a few.
Mark’s dynamic color and design sense, as well as his on-target marketing ability, have garnered him numerous professional awards, including Austin Advertising Club’s Addy Awards for design excellence and IABC Best of Austin Awards.
Mark is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Communication Design. He taught graphic design and production courses at Austin Community College.
Scott Borders is a designer, illustrator, photographer, and copywriter with more than 25 years experience. His areas of expertise include fast and fabulous 3D modeling and animation skills, traditional and digital illustration, commercial photography, Flash animation, Web design, and copywriting.
Scott brings a laser-like mind to the design process. He has the ability to absorb a great deal of information and distill it, uncovering the essential message and meaning.
Scott graduated from UT-Austin in 1980 with a BA in philosophy. Additional coursework in technical writing, design, and education curriculum and instruction rounds out his considerable repertoire. Scott is also a certified math teacher.
Donna Loughran is a designer, artist, animator, writer, and editor. She has more than 15 years experience in multimedia production, both educational and corporate. Some clients have included Holt, Rinehart, & Winston, Harcourt, Steck-Vaughn, MacMillan, Raintree, Heinemann, Apple Computers, Planview, and IBM.
Donna won a Silver Spur Award from Western Writers of America for her illustration of the Bluebonnet notable book, The Great Texas Scare. She has also participated in award-winning multimedia products for Holt, Rinehart, & Winston, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. Donna has also served as managing editor for several groundbreaking interactive educational courses for adult learners such as: Harcourt Achieve, Read Me, a Flash interactive online remedial reading course with feedback and tailored lessons; PRE-GED 21st Century 2003–2004 web and CD course; and GED 21st Century 2002 web and CD course.
Donna graduated from NTSU with a degree in Fine Art. She attended graduate school at UT in Fine Art and Literature. She is author of several books for children.
Scott Allen is a skilled Director, Flash, and Dreamweaver programmer. He has over ten years experience as a digital media and audio recording and production professional.
Scott was multimedia before multimedia was cool. After exploring a keen interest in literature, art, photography, and music, Scott became interested in computers. At the beginning of the 1980s, he bought his first computer, an early Macintosh. Scott has made a living with digital media ever since. He helped produce many award-winning multimedia products, such as: Holt Science and Technology—1999 Cindy Award; AT&T and Lucent Technologies, Workplace Effectiveness, Critical Thinking Skills CD—1999 SXSW Texas in Multimedia award; the web version of this product—2000 SXSW, Texas in Multimedia “Outstanding” award.
Scott graduated from UCLA with a degree in English Literature. He also has a popular band, Rumbullion, that can be heard in many Central Texas venues.
Susan Priddy is an award-winning writer and marketing communications specialist. She has more than 20 years of experience, working with clients such as IBM, Frost Bank, The University of Texas System, AMD, Experian, Germania Insurance, Cirrus Logic, 3M, Schlumberger, and Motorola.
Known for creativity that produces bottom-line results, Susan has a solid track record
for developing highly effective brochures, newsletters, annual reports, websites, direct
marketing and corporate branding.
Susan earned a journalism degree from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA with
an emphasis in marketing strategy from North Central College in suburban Chicago. She later
taught marketing at North Central College, and she has been recognized with a number of
industry honors including Marketing Excellence awards from the American Marketing Association,
local and regional awards from the IABC, and the Silver Spur award from the TPRA.
